so good to be back in the gym again.
so I took 3 days off after the half. i could barely walk. but wednesday i wanted to try going back to the gym. I took it easy. Ran a mile on the track and incline walked on the treadmill, then did abs and arms. It felt good to be back doing whatever I felt like. And I went yesterday and this morning too. Harder workouts. Even did the elliptical for a hour, which I hadn’t done in forever. It feels so much easier than long distance running, but it’s nice to change it up. I love having sore arms and abs. I still haven’t gone on a long run yet. I wanted to take at least a week off and I’ll try to get back into it, but I do have finals all next week and then will be spending the week in Disney World! So I won’t be working out too much, but I’ll try to get back on track after I get back from my vacation. I like having the freedom to workout however I want and not feeling like i have ‘homework’ in the form of ‘miles’. It’s a nice change of pace.
